(English version) Chapter 11: Permanent Peace RENUNCIATION OF WAR Article 36 The peoples united in the World Commonwealth, regard all war and war-like acts or the threat or use of force, regardless of what name, reason or form, as a historic evil that threatens the survival of humankind and the sustainability of the planet, and will forever abolish them. ABOLITION OF ARMAMENTS Article 37 1. In order to achieve the aims of the preceding Article, the constituent Zones of the World Commonwealth shall not maintain any armaments, whether as weapons or armed forces or under any other designation. 2. Any member Zones which still possesses armaments at the time this Charter comes into force shall promote the prompt disarmament in accordance with the provisions of a treaty to be established separately. 3.
