(English version) Chapter 13: Peaceful Settlement of Disputes THE JUDICIAL COUNCIL Article 69 1. The Judicial Council shall be the sole and final authority to hear appeals against decisions of the Grand-Zonal Judicial Commission. 2. The Judicial Council shall be established whenever an appeal is filed, solely to hear the case in question. 3. The Judicial Council shall be composed of nine Zones, selected by lottery by the General Assembly from among the Zones included in the Grand-Zone in which the party to the appeal is not included. 4. Each member Zone of the Judicial Council shall appoint one representative judge to hear the appeal. Article 70 In cases in which the Peace Council is directly charged with the case pursuant to Article 66, Paragraph 2, and when judicial resolution is deemed appropriate, the Judicial Council shall be established.
